The Association of Registered Gas Installers (ARGI)

With the words:-

The site exists to enable, empower, and all the other palliatives one could use to encourage like minded RGI's to try and build an association to represent us ALL with the common sense we as responsible tradesmen display every day of our working lives to guide us.

ARGI came into being on 29th August 2004

The catalyst being the registration body announcing the introduction of GWN and CSI despite the idea being deprecated in the 2000 review of gas safety.
A concerned group somewhat reluctantly decided that a stance needed to be made against the ever increasing and often inappropriate influence and burden being placed upon the day to day activities of responsible conscientious tradesmen working in the domestic gas industry.

Since its inception ARGI has acted to represent the views of its members at every applicable level, to encourage the development of relevant and safe practices for the benefit of tradesmen and the public users of gas and appliances
